Director of Program Development and Quality

Save the Children has been working in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt) since 1973 and is recognized for its commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration.  Save the Children currently implements programs in Child Protection, Education, Health, and Livelihoods throughout the West Bank and Gaza.

Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions for its oPt Country Office:

 

Director of Program Development and Quality: Reference PDQSMT02

This position is responsible for overseeing the development of high quality, innovative programs that deliver immediate and lasting change for children and monitoring the quality of the implementation of those programs.  This role will also provide technical assistance and appropriate monitoring and evaluation in emergency responses.

Job Requirements:
-Substantial experience in management experience in a corporate or an NGO environment, including experience directing and implementing programs for children in both emergency and development contexts,
-Recognized leadership role in relevant technical areas at both field and country level
-Masters degree in a relevant discipline is desired
-Solid experience of developing and managing monitoring and learning systems
-Strong advocacy and policy development experience and skills
-Proven ability to lead proposal development teams
-Fluency in English and Arabic

STARTING DATE for The position: Immediate
