Yeryüzü Doktorları Derneği (YYD) or Doctors Worldwide Turkey serves communities that are victims of hunger, poverty, drought, disease, war and conflict, natural and human-induced disasters, without discrimination regarding religious, linguistic, racial, political, and philosophical views, working through local partnerships.

YYD began working in Gaza in 2001 initiating different projects as: medical education, lab care unit, and physical therapy clinic, in 2015; YYD opened its branch in Gaza to supervise its projects and provide sustainable services as Medical Home Services Program that cover all Gaza Strip areas.

Job Summary:

DWWT is seeking for Doctor to work within (Medical Home Services project- MHS) and follow up Medical team in Gaza Strip in the south area. DWWT encourages candidates to apply for this job vacancy to be then included in its team working in Palestine.

S/he will be reporting directly to the project officer.

Conditions of Employment:
Starting: ASAP
Duration: 12 months with three months as Probation
Contract: Employee – renewed annually

Main duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct office work and field work with the project team.
2. Conduct daily visits to the Beneficiaries of the project to assess their medical needs and prepare a treatment plan.
3. The provision of medical services to the Beneficiaries in their homes or any place determine by the project officer.
4. Follow up the beneficiaries after medical interventions according to the treatment plan and make the necessary changing in the plan according to each individuals need.
5. Write periodic reports according to the instructions of the project officer on a specific actions that been implemented by him/her or their medical team
6. Fill the project's forms required from the doctor, and make sure to keep them updated according to each case
7. Provide any necessary medical information of the Beneficiaries and their families and the proper ways and mechanisms to deal with the current situation and tips to get to patient's situation on both psychological and physical status to the best level.
8. Perform any needed training for the other project staff or beneficiaries and their family if needed, which will be determined by the project officer.
9. Help in the evaluation of the project team throughout the project period.
10. Coordinate with the rest of the team to implement the treatment plan and in case of any changes in the patient case.
11. Follow the administrative sequence and the chain of commands 
12. Perform any tasks assigned by the officer.
13. Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of patients and project work.
14. Take full responsibility for his/her action toward the patient's treatment and his/her way of implementing the medical services.
15. Ensure the efficiency of the medical team under his/her supervision.

Qualifications and skills:

1. First university degree in medicine.
2. A practicing license from the Ministry of Health
3.  Actual working experience no less than 2 years in the medical field.
4. Gender: Male/female 
5. Good-looking and courteous in speech and able to persuade
6. Working through a team and working under pressure
7. Computer and Microsoft office skills
8. Ability to write reports in both English and Arabic.
9. Fluent English language " Reading , Writing and speaking"
10. Ability and willingness to work under emergency situations

Additional Requirements:  Preferably lives in the south of Gaza Strip
