Individual consultancy services- Documentary Film Maker

Introduction

An-Najah National University has received a grant from the Quality Improvement Fund (QIF) - Education to Work Transition Project - Ministry of Education and Higher Education, funded by the World Bank for the project entitled: Linking with the Private Tourism Sector: The Tourism and Archaeology Department Curriculum Reform.

This project is designed to improve the learning opportunities for department of Tourism and Archeology (TAA) students by gradually moving towards more experiential learning approaches in collaboration with the tourism sector institutions: public sector as the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Palestine (MOTA), Nablus municipality, and the Palestinian Tourism Private Sector (PTPS)

Assignment Objective               

An-Najah National University is now considering the selection of a professional and qualified Documentary Film Maker who will work in making and producing a documentary film for Nablus city to be displayed in a new museum in Nablus - An-Najah University in cooperation with the project’s team and consultant.
       

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

-    Reviewing the script prepared by the project’s consultant (Museum Archaeological Finds Documentation and Labeling Consultant)
-    The consultant will make a 3:30min - 4:00min documentary film in both Arabic and English.

Deliverables:

-    Documentary Film of Nablus City. (3:30min - 4:00min /In Arabic and English)
-    Final report including recommendation and findings.

Essential Required Qualifications:

-         At least Bachelor Degree in,Journalism, Media, Producing,or any other related fieldfrom a recognized university with 5 years minimum work experience.
-         Or Master's degree inJournalism, Producing, Media or any other related fieldfrom a recognized university with 3 years minimum work experience in the field.
-         Proven experience in conducting similar assignment, at least two similar assignments.
-         Excellent report writing skills.  
-         Strong communication skills.
-         Ability to work under pressure.

 
Level of effort

The level of effort for this evaluation consultation service is estimated as 10 working days/ 3 hours a day.

Contract Type: Lump Sum Contract.
