THE JOB
Under the guidance andsupervision of the Administrative Officer, the diver, basedin Gaza will provide reliable and safe driving services ensuring highaccuracy of work. The Driver demonstrates a high sense of responsibility, courtesy.
 
S/he Main tasks will include:
 
-Ensures cost-savings through proper use of vehicle throughaccurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision of inputs to preparationof the vehicle maintenance plans and reports.
-Ensures proper day-to-daymaintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangementsfor major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes, car washing, etc.
-Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies includingvehicle insurance, vehicle logs, map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts
-Drive the team according to the movementplanning.
-Apply HI security guidelines and specific instructions relatedto each movement.
-Perform any other additional duty on request of his/hersupervisor
 
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
-Must have Secondary Education as minimum
-Valid Driving License for 5 year at least.
-Minimum 3 years of previous work experience as driver with INGO
-More than 30 years old.
-Able to communicate in English language.
-Knowledge in mechanics and car maintenance.
-Knowledge in safety rules, and Gaza strip streets.
-Knowledge of computer skills are an asset

Initial contract will be for a period of 11 months and the position is based in Gaza.
