THE JOB
Under the guidance and supervision of the Logistics Officer, the driver /log support based in Jerusalem will provide reliable, safe and timely chauffeur services as well as assisting with some logistics related tasks.. The Driver / log support should be able to demonstrates a high sense of responsibility and courtesy.

Main tasks will include:
- Drive the team according to the movement planning.
- Ensures proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tyres, brakes, car washing, etc.
- Ensures availability of and use of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts
- Ensures cost-savings through proper use of vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision of inputs for preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports.
- Apply HI security guidelines and specific instructions related to each movement.
- Perform any other additional duty upon request of his supervisor

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- Must have Secondary Education as minimum
- Have a clean valid driving license of at least 4 years.
- Minimum 3 years of previous work experience as driver with INGO.
- Able to communicate in English language.
- Knowledge in mechanics and car maintenance.
- Knowledge of traffic safety rules both in Jerusalem and West bank .
- Knowledge of computer skills are an asset.
Initial contract will be for a period of one year and the position is based in Jerusalem.
