THE JOB
Under the guidance and supervision of the Logistics Assistant, the driver, based in Jerusalem will provide reliable, safe and timely chauffer services as well as assisting with some logistics related tasks.. The Driver should be able to demonstrates a high sense of responsibility and courtesy.

Main tasks will include:

- Drive the team according to the movement planning.
- Ensures proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tyres, brakes, car washing, etc.
- Ensures availability of and use of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts
- Ensures cost-savings through proper use of vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision of inputs for preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports.
- Apply HI security guidelines and specific instructions related to each movement.
- Perform any other additional duty upon request of his/her supervisor

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

- Must have Secondary Education as minimum
- Have a clean valid driving license of at least 4 years.
- Minimum 3 years of previous work experience as driver with INGO.
- Able to communicate in English language.
- Knowledge in mechanics and car maintenance.
- Knowledge of traffic safety rules both in Jerusalem and West bank .
- Knowledge of computer skills are an asset.
Initial contract will be for a period of one year and the position is based in Jerusalem.
