This position will be based in SCI Gaza Office.

Role Purpose:

To provide driving services and undertake general administrative functions for Gaza Office.

Reports to: Fleet Coordinator

Starting Date: October 1, 2014.                                                          

Ending Date: December 31, 2014.

Responsibilities:
Assisting Fleet Coordinator in driving staff upon request.
Cleaning SCI vehicles on periodic basis.
Moving office furniture between offices as requested.
Helping international staff in moving luggage to the Guest House.
Carrying files and arranging the archive room.
Conduct all delivery requests from staff between the offices.
In coordination with supervisor, assisting in responding to delivery requests out of the office.
Responsible for serving visitors.
Checking that all basement doors are locked before leaving the office.
Assisting Fleet Coordinator in the daily check up of all SCI vehicles.
Ready to work to respond to any natural disaster or emergency situation anywhere in oPt.
Any other duties requested in accordance with the nature of the job and the work load.

Qualifications And Experience
School Education.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to work within a team and under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to contribute to a small and proactive team.
Understanding of Save the Children’s vision and mission and a commitment to its objectives.
Knowledge of English is an advantage.
Valid Driving Licence.
Commitment to Save the Children values.
Willingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams (n the event of emergencies)
