Driver /Yellow Plate

Palamara Consulting Engineers is locally recognized consulting firm that provides engineering, architecture and Construction management services in Palestine 

Palamara is seeking to hire a highly qualified candidate for the position of Driver /Yellow Plate with the following minimum qualification and requirements for the USAID West Bank and Gaza Architecture and Engineering Services project.

Location: Ramallah – Palestine

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks on the assigned vehicle’s technical condition (including tires, oil, fuel, brakes, radio equipment, spare parts, etc.), perform weekly inspections, refill as needed, and maintain cleanliness to ensure optimal driving conditions.
• Set up and monitor vehicle planning.
• Follow up on fueling and maintenance.
• Handle transport documentation.
• Ensure compliance with traffic rules and regulations.
• Report any incidents or accidents immediately.
• Drive staff according to the movement plan.
• Pick up and transport international staff to and from the airport.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Must hold a Jerusalem ID.
• Valid Israeli driving license needed.
• Fluent in Arabic, Good level of spoken English
• Willing to travel frequently to field locations in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
• Experience with international organizations is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Flexibility in working hours is essential.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience in following security protocols and procedures.
• Familiarity with and adherence to security rules regarding vehicle movements, especially at checkpoints and roadblocks.

  Qualifications:

  High school diploma required.

  Required Experience:

  At least 1 year of driving experience for an international organization with positive references.
