Tomorrow’s Youth Organization (TYO) is a non-profit organization that works in disadvantaged areas of the Middle East, empowering children, youth, and parents to realize their potential as active, responsible community members. TYO is recruiting passionate and experienced educators to support its Early Childhood Education (ECE) program at its flagship center in Nablus, Palestine.

Job Summary
TYO seeks a highly motivated Early Childhood Educator to lead holistic, trauma-informed learning experiences for preschool-aged children. The educator will focus on cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral development, utilizing a play-based and structured learning approach. This role is essential in providing children with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, particularly those affected by adversity and trauma.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate, play-based curricula that promote literacy, numeracy, and socio-emotional skills.
• Foster a safe, structured, and trauma-sensitive classroom environment where children can thrive.
• Integrate Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies into daily activities.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching methods to support the holistic development of young learners.
• Collaborate with school counselors and psychologists to identify and address behavioral and emotional needs.
• Train and mentor local volunteers, equipping them with skills to support early childhood education.
• Engage parents and caregivers through workshops and activities that reinforce learning at home.

Primary Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 4+ years of full-time teaching experience in ECE, preschool, or kindergarten.
• Strong background in SEL, trauma-informed education, or MHPSS interventions.
• Fluent in Arabic, with a strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Experience working with children in crisis-affected settings is highly desirable.
• Passion for play-based, child-centered, and experiential learning methodologies.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to create a structured, positive environment.
• Commitment to TYO’s non-political, non-religious mission.
