Economic Development Lead

World Vision Jerusalem -West Bank- Gaza is seeking:

Economic Development Lead

The successful candidate will:
-Lead the process of developing the national level strategic economic development programming
-Provide technical support to zonal managers and relevant staff in the area of economic development programming , monitoring, evaluation reporting and grants acquisition
-Develop technical models in cooperation with relevant partners and stakeholders
-Provide technical supervision to related staff
-Submit semi-annual and annual reports to reflect the impact of ED programs at the national level
-Lead the capacity building of teams in technical economic development models
-Represent WV in local and regional related workshops

Qualifications/Requirements
-Bachelor degree in Economics, Public policy, Humanitarian Aid/Development, Social Work, Education, Management or other related fied. Masters degree preffered
-At least 5 years’ experience in managing economic development programs and working in Humanitarian and development agencies
-Strong Economic Development knowledge
-Demonstrated experience in program and project design, implementation, monitoring , evaluation, reporting is required
-Ability to work as a team member in an interdisciplinary environment and contribute to this in capacity building
-Excellent communication skills (English & Arabic)
-An energetic, analytical, flexible and self-starting approach
-Organizational and self-management skills
-Problem solving and interpersonal skill
-Thorough knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of Lotus Notes is preferred
-Ability to demonstrate strong collaborative team and networking skills
-Thinking clearly, deeply and broadly
-Commitment to achieving quality results and service
-Valid driving license
-Integrity and strong identification with WV Core Values
