Education in Emergencies Project Officer
The purpose of this position is to support the Education in Emergencies Grant Manager in the day to day operations and implementation of the oPt Pooled Fund Education in Emergencies project, in alignment with the approved project design, budget, donor regulations and requirements, and WVI policies, procedures and technical quality standards. This emergency response project focuses on: (1) Addressing learning loss through community-based catch up classes; and (2) Strengthening psychosocial support in schools. The project is to be implemented in central and northern West Bank. The officer will be responsible for field level implementation with a roving duty station (options include Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarem).

At least 3 years of progressive work experience in implementation of Education in Emergencies programming; experience in delivery of catch up classes or PSS in schools an advantage.
University degree/background in Business, Project Management or related fields.
Have a valid driving license
Experienced in project information management, compliance and reporting
Experience in project management cycle
Strong communication and analytical skills
Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office and other applications
Good Command of Spoken and written English
The position is based in a Zone office (options: Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarem)
The position requires ability and willingness to travel up to 40% domestically to project sites.
Excellent English written and spoken required
Arabic written and spoken fluency.
