EFL Teachers

AMIDEAST/West Bank is searching for certified experienced EFL teachers for our offices in West Bank located in Ramallah/Al Bireh, Hebron, Jerusalem and Nablus. Our EFL trainers are responsible for teaching adults (ages 17+years) and children (ages 9-16 years approximately) with various proficiency general English, conversational English, ESP, SAT I test preparation, TOEFL iBT test preparation courses. Our EFL teachers are also responsible for tailoring material to meet the needs and demands of our clientele.

Qualifications:
Fluent English speaker; TESL / TEFL / CELTA certification strongly preferred;
Ability to teach during the daytime, afternoons, evenings, and on weekends;
Excellent English communication and presentation skills;
Flexibility in accommodating different course schedules
Enthusiastic, innovative, reliable, organized, committed, and a team player.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Tasks and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

Arrive for classes on time, fully prepared and teach the full period;
Follow up on students performance;
Provide continuous feedback to students on their performance;
Design supplementary materials;
Follow the designed syllabus for the course;
Correct and grade reports, assessments, and submit a final evaluation per individual, reports and requested data in appropriate formats;
Prepare, review, evaluate and revise reports and other course materials, and participate in ongoing development and review of curriculum;
Participate in staff development programs, including workshops, in-service training programs, visits by academic specialists, and other activities;
Follow all standard procedures detailed in this teacher handbook or elsewhere.

Consultant Contract Agreement Details: All EFL teachers are hired as Consultants by AMIDEAST/West Bank and are reimbursed per teaching hour which is inclusive of preparation, grading, lesson planning, etc. Teachers are not paid for holidays or absent days. AMIDEAST/West Bank does not offer accommodation and/or travel stipends for EFL teachers.
