YEC was established under the law of the Palestinian Civil Authorities in the year 2005 through a youth initiative to response to the needs of the Palestinian society.

YEC is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Electrical Engineer -Gaza .
Duration: 4 months

Tasks and responsibilities:

1- Follow-up the installation of the solar energy for rehabilitation of the desalination plant.
2-Supervision the technical professional specifications of the project .
3-Calculating the quantities of the estimate project with the contract processing.
4-Follow up all issues of solar energy installation with the contractors / suppliers.
5-Ensure that all solar energy equipment is operational and inspected before installation.

6- Preparing the tender of the project including the estimated cost, technical specification, and time plan.

7- Coordination with WASH engineering Officer in all issues related to Solar energy.
8-Plan and conduct regular field visits to ensure proper implementation and proper dealing with Solar energy system.
9-Prepare periodical reports about solar energy system.

10-Perform any other tasks required by Project Officer.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Qualifications:

-At least a Bachelor degree from recognized university in electrical engineering.
-Minimum three years of professional experience in solar energy system , experience should include supervision of nature field at least two projects.
-Excellent organizational skills to analyze set priorities, take initiatives and complete the work according to deadline.

-Site Management Skills, and good command in Auto CAD, excel and other software programs.
-Fluency in both English & Arabic languages including both written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
-Ability to start working immediately.
