Emergency Doctor 1

Médecins du Monde (MDM) France is an International Medical Organization, which has been present in the Palestinian Territories since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank through offices located in Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus.

MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Emergency doctor 1, Gaza Base (1 Positions)
Starting date:April 19th, 2015
Duration:1 Fulltime Contract, 11 months


I-MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct emergency trainings and follow-ups of Ministry of Health (MoH) medical staff, under supervision of the medical manager
Support the preparation, implementation of the 2 simulations followed by the 2 workshops
Support the implementation of Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP) in North and Gaza Governorates for the MoH structures.
Reinforcement of the Emergency technical Operational Procedures (ETOPs) for the MoH structures.
Supervision of BLS team and activities
Reporting and follow-up of activities


II-RequirmentS
Bachelor degree in medicine & medico-surgical emergency diploma with experience as emergency trainer for medical-paramedical staff.
At least 3 years of work experience with NGOs.
Capacity to organize & conduct training.
Good supervision & reporting skills.
Good communication skills.
Good command of English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken).
Computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint, statistics software…).
