Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
The Economic & Social Development Centre of Palestine (ESDC) is seeking to employ a monitoring & evaluation officer located in Ramallah office.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Development studies or a related field. Diplomas in different fields of expertise is an added value.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in development projects, implementing and follow-up.
- Good knowledge of the NGO sector.
- Experience in project evaluation.
- Demonstrate leadership, training, research, and critical analysis skills.
- Highly articulate, written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Proficient use of computers (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet, Data base)
- Similar experience in dealing with M&E systems and designing/ monitoring logframs is preferable.
Main functions of the M&E Officer:
As the Administrator of the information system:
- Review the current PMIS to ensure its adequacy and conformity with the different ESDC and Donor’s reporting requirements.
- Establish convention on key terminology, entry forms, progress tables adapted to each of ESDC’s operations and its implementing partners and keep updates
- Ensure that M&E responsibilities are defined and designated to appropriate staff members.
Reporting responsibilities:
- Participating in the preparation of periodic progress report, mid-term and implementation completion reports.
- Assist staff and partner organizations in preparing the M&E section of the progress reports and ensure their timely and accurate submission.
- Provide the ESDC Director and senior management with regular updates about the M&E system.
