CHF International is implementing a five-year, Community Infrastructure Development (CID) program in the West Bank with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This program aims to improve the quality of life for Palestinians in vulnerable communities through provision of multi-sectoral infrastructure and a wide-range of capacity building initiatives. To support the implementation of this program, CHF International and partners are seeking qualified candidates to assume the following positions, on renewable yearly contracts:
Executive Assistant
Location: Ramallah/Al-Bireh
Responsibilities:
The Executive Assistant is the primary point of contact for the Program Director. S/he will assist the Program Director in administrative tasks related to the program, including telephone calls, faxes and correspondence. He/she will prepare and maintain project files, and coordinate internal and external meetings and appointments.
Key qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in administrative/secretarial work; a minimum of two years experience; strong organizational, communication and writing skills; excellent representational skills; good communication and inter-personal skills; ability to multi-task, while remaining calm and professional; excellent command of computer programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; flexibility, reliability, tactfulness, discretion and punctuality; ability to work with people and all levels and in a multi-cultural environment; ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines; and excellent English and fluent Arabic are required.
