About The Freedom Theatre (TFT)
The mission of The Freedom Theatre is to develop a vibrant and creative artistic community in the north of the West Bank. The aim is to empower children, youth, and adults and give them the tools and space to explore the potential of the arts as a catalyst for social change.
Current programmes at TFT include:
Theatre (Acting School, Drama Workshops, Productions, Applied Theatre, Performances & Screenings)
Multimedia (Filmmaking, Creative Writing, Photography)
Freedom Bus (Playback Theatre, Freedom Rides)

Job Title: Executive Producer
Job Description:
The Executive Producer is a key member of staff who will need to be autonomous in their work, whilst maintaining close communication with other team members. We are looking for someone who is creative, dynamic, personable, and a strategic thinker. The Executive Producer will contribute towards overall management decisions while providing general staff and board oversight.
The Executive Producer will be based in Jenin Refugee Camp, Palestine and will need to be flexible in regards to work schedule as some weekends and evenings may be required.
Main Responsibilities
Collect relevant information from project leaders to help build the program of TFT and finalize it with the General Manager
With the General Manager install and manage systems of good working practice for staff at TFT including Health & Safety
Work with Admin and Finance Team to ensure accurate tracking of income and maintain an awareness of expenses - ensure each project has an operating budget and that it is adhered to under the financial structure of TFT
Work with the Resource Development Team to ensure all necessary information is obtained from project staff to allow for the timely submission of grant proposals.
Work with the Resource Development Department to ensure compliance with grant requirements
Manage project deadlines with project leaders from initial planning meetings to implementation and delivery
Ensure each project has the necessary support and facilities to deliver on its goals
Requirements
Have the necessary documents to live and work in Palestine (unfortunately TFT is unable to secure working visas for foreign employees. Applicants who will need to do a visa run every 3 months will not be considered.)
3 years minimum experience in producing theatre and or arts management
A comprehensive understanding of the situation in Palestine
Proficient in Excel, Word and other office tools
Experience running budgets
Excellent time management skills
Strong diplomatic skills
Experience working on an international team
Ability to work and make decisions in a busy and stressful environment
Must be fluent in both Arabic and English
Desired
Minimum 6 years’ experience in producing theatre and or arts management.
A Masters in Arts Management, Arts Administration or a similar field.
A comprehensive understanding of the arts sector in Palestine
Salary and Benefits
In addition to salary, TFT will provide the Executive Producer with housing if needed.
Starting Salary: 3,800 – 4,000 NIS
Salaries will be reviewed annually. Any increase in salary will be determined based on performance and current funding.
Probation period: 3 months
