Reporting to: Front End Team Leader

Type of Contract: Full time & Remotely

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Build reusable code components.
2. Review code and estimate tasks in relation to delivery dates.
3. Participate in choosing the suitable technology stack for each project.
4. Use mark-up languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages.
5. Maintain and improve the website.
6. Optimize applications for maximum speed
7. Design mobile-based features
8. Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve the usability
9. Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
10. Write functional requirement documents and guides
11. Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
12. Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
13. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
14. Responsible for sharing knowledge and review with the Junior team colleagues any technical issues and challenges.
15. Responsible for the teammates in the same scrum team reviewing task estimation, technical issues, and code quality.
16. Participate in new challenges, POC's or new technologies.
17. Participate in the team development plan.

Special Requirements & Skills: 

1. A minimum of 4 years working experience with any single page application framework such as AngularJS, VueJS, or ReactJS.
2. Proficient understanding of HTTP and cookies.
3. Proficient understanding of javascript ECMAScript 6, HTML5, and CSS3.
4. Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS or SASS.
5. Proficient understanding of any single page application framework such as AngularJS, VueJS, or ReactJS.
6. Proficient understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
7. Proficient knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
8. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
9. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
10. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools git.
11. Proficient understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
12. Proficient understanding of API authentication methods such as jwt and oauth.
13. Proficient understanding of how webpack and babel work.
14. Proficient understanding of website performance issues and how to fix them.

Total Years of Experience: 

4+ years of experience.

Education & Certificates Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Salary:

USD 800 - 900
