Position: PSS Facilitators

Type: FTC, Full-time, On-site

Location: Gaza, Palestine

Salary: ILS 2,680 (Per month)

Reporting to: MHPSS Program Lead

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP ) is seeking dedicated and compassionate PSS Facilitators to join our team in Gaza City. The successful candidates will be crucial in delivering psychosocial support (PSS) services, including Psychological First Aid (PFA) and recreational activities, to individuals affected by ongoing conflict and crises.

متطلبات الوظيفة

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in delivering psychosocial support or related services, preferably in a humanitarian or conflict-affected setting. Previous experience with Psychological First Aid (PFA) and/or facilitating recreational activities is highly desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse populations. Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive situations. Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding principles. Fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English is a plus.
