ACTED is a French humanitarian international NGO working in the West Bank since 2007. We are seeking:
Field Agronomist for Project “Support to Small Ruminants Breeders” (Job Code: ACTEDH06092)
Start date: ASAP. Salary: 3400 NIS per month net or depending on experience - Full Time Position.
Based in Dura, Hebron, the Field Agronomist will bear the following main responsibilities:
Program Support:
• Create activity plans regarding to work-plans designed by Project Coordinator
• Undertake activities including selection of beneficiaries, distribution of fodder/seeds and training/capacity building
• Coordinate internally with Project Coordinator & other staff to ensure smooth implementation of activities planned
• Coordinate externally with beneficiaries and other groups as needed to ensure implementation of activities
• Ensure timely data/document collection and filing of documents related to above activities
Required Skills:
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in the agricultural sector preferably with NGOs/INGOs
• University degree in agronomy or related field
• Excellent computer skills including Excel
• Fluent English and Arabic
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively
• Driving License preferred
