Field Coordinator
1. Background:
In partnership with the International Rescue Committee, Juzoor is implementing a project entitled “ Emergency primary health services to conflict-affected populations in Gaza and the West Bank “ in two location in the west bank ( Tulkarem and Hebron) . Juzoor is seeking the services of two Field Coordinator in the project areas, one Field Coordinator in Tulkarem and one field coordinator in Hebron.
2. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Field Coordinator’s key tasks and responsibilities, include among others, the following:
- Coordinate and implement program activities, including program planning, implementation, logistics, and administration, and reporting in close coordination with related partners.
- Develop and implement operational plans, timelines, and budgets for field activities.
- Liaise and build strong relationships with local partners (Authorities, CBOs, community initiatives, and CSOs to ensure their engagement in the project.
- Facilitate and support in planning and implementation of community-led initiatives, networking, and campaigns, and to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, quality and compliance.
- Conduct regular field visits to provide guidance, monitor progress, and identify capacity development needs
- Support in the preparation of success stories, press releases, communication materials, and other documentations, as required.
- Prepare and provide data on the activities in timely manner as aligned with MEAL plans. In addition, provide timely and accurate reporting on programs activities, achievements, and impact, and challenges.
- Coordinate logistical support (procurement/finance) in compliance with organizational procedures and policies to ensure that planned activities are implemented effectively and efficiently, and in coordination with the person in charge. Full compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and donor requirements.
- Fulfill any other work-related and activities tasks delegated by management
3. Working Code and Methodology:

- Promote the development of relationships with the partner organizations based on a concept of partnerships founded on shared values, mutual respect, reciprocity of learning and transparency.
- Maintain close and continuous relations with the target population and its grassroots organizations, and provisions to listen to their expectations

- The position holder acknowledges that all information is confidential to Juzoor such as documents, manuals, designs, applications of all sorts, agree that these documents are the sole custody of Juzoor and should not be used outside Juzoor organization unless it is cleared by Juzoor management and the board of directors, as stipulated in Juzoor’s IT & Data Policy.
- The position holder has read, understood, and signed off to her/his Terms of Reference (ToR), as attached.
- The position holder understands and agrees to fulfil tasks related to her/his TOR, and for the benefit of Juzoor’s activities, as requested by her/his immediate supervisor.
- The position holder understands and agrees to read, comply and participate in any orientation held by Juzoor related to HR and Juzoor policies.

4. Main Field Coordinators Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the tasks assigned to revise, promote, implement or coordinate the Projects assigned. This includes awareness sessions/campaigns to introduce the communities to Juzoor’s vision, mission and project goals, in an effort to muster community support and ownership
- Assist in the organization of events and project interventions with community-based organizations.
- Monitor the implementation of assigned work plans, budgets, planned results, and indicators, etc.
- Assist in organizing workshops, meetings and forums for exchange of experience and expertise.
- Develop detailed periodic activity plans, as required.
- Submit monthly/quarterly/semi-annual reports identifying achievements, problems faced and proposed solutions.
- Attend weekly, monthly and other programme-related meetings to discuss general implementation plans and share experiences and lessons learnt.
- In all administrative practices, strictly follow the laws of Palestine.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned or directed by the Unit Director/ project manager .
- Function as a trainer in the areas where the position holder has received Training of Trainer training.
- Conduct community awareness activities, including arranging for material distribution, driving to locations, managing the Juzoor volunteers, and hospitality arrangements. This also includes follow up visits for monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment.
- Being responsible for securing that all paperwork and official documents related to the project are properly submitted to management and finance for processing.
5. Position’s Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Major in Social Science, Management or any related field).
- At least 2- 3 years’ experience in Community development, and implementing advocacy and lobbying campaigns.
- Project coordination.
- Excellent networking, planning, and organizational skills.
- Good Command of English level (writing, speaking, reading), fluent Arabic.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
6. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A person appointed to the position of Field Coordinator shall meet the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Knowledge and experience in project cycle management and Results Based Management (RBM).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge in Monitoring and Evaluation.
- Knowledge of Computer skills, including Excel, Microsoft Office and Power Point.
- Be a good problem solver, analytical, creative and innovative.
- Act as serious, trustworthy, disciplined, dependable and responsible.
- Possess excellent verbal and written command of the English language.
- Be willing to travel within the West Bank region of Palestine.
- Able to assume responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of work.
