Background Summary:
The East Jerusalem YMCA -Women’s Training Program is partnering with DanChurch Aid in the implementation of a project on Inheritance Denied II: Promoting Palestinian’s women’s social and economic rights through access to inheritance. This project is for three years, and is funded by the European Commission.

Job Title: Field Coordinators (2)
Duration of Job: 33 months
Closing Date: July 25, 2013
Target Hiring Date: August, 2013

Location: Jenin and Nablus Governorates

Key responsibilities:
-Coordinates all the activities in the targeted locations.
-Coordinate with all stakeholders in the area.

-Conducts meetings with women groups to raise their awareness on women inheritance rights.
-Monitors the implementation of specific plans in each location.
-Monitors the results of all interventions undertaken.
-Supports CBOs to design and implement advocacy campaigns.

Required Qualifications and Experience.

1-A bachelor’s degree in the area of social work, or other relevant field.
2-At least three years of experience in community development projects.
3-Working experience in women projects.
4-Ability to organize work , lead and deliver activities with high level standards, and proven track record in producing quality work
5-Prepared to work under pressure

6-Computer literate especially Microsoft office applications
7-Good communication and writing skills in Arabic and English.
