Field/ Logistical Coordinators
Contracting Organization: Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)
Location of the assignment: West Bank
1. Background:
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a UK-registered charity that has been reaching out to the Palestinian communities, striving to deliver health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. MAP provides immediate medical aid to those in need at times of crisis while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.
MAP’s vision is of a future in which all Palestinians can access an effective, sustainable, and locally led system of healthcare and the full realization of their rights to health and dignity.
2. Objective
MAP seeks to identify and recruit a pool of potential logistical coordinators in the West Bank. This recruitment is intended to establish a roster of qualified individuals who may be considered for future service opportunities with MAP (short-term consultation services). It is important to emphasize that this is not a job advertisement for immediate positions but a proactive initiative to build a pool of potential candidates. MAP is seeking potential candidates from ALL West Bank governorates.
3. Scope of Work
The selected potential coordinators will be expected to:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of MAP’s projects and activities in the West Bank.
- Work closely with local partners, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between MAP and its partners in the assigned governorate.
- Travel to service areas to ensure proper implementation of programs and proper delivery of medical items.
- Provide regular updates and reports to MAP’s program team.
- Handle administrative tasks related to activity coordination, including documentation, scheduling, and logistical arrangements.
- Complete the safeguarding online training via kayaconnect.org and provide the completion certificate to MAP.

5. Qualifications and Experience
- An educational background in health, management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in project coordination and logistics, preferably within the humanitarian sector
- At least two years of experience in logistics and project management. Experience in the health sector is preferable.
- Good communication skills.
- Good command of the English language both written and spoken.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel/drive within the West Bank.
- Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed.

- Ethical Considerations
The Consultants will be required to adhere to MAP policies and ethical guidelines, including MAP’s safeguarding policy and code of conduct.
