Field Officer

Elamal Rehabilitation Society – Rafah announce a job vacancy in partnership with EducAid NGO. Elamal is looking for a Field Officer for a project, funded by the E.U., aiming at the socio-economic empowerment of women with disability in Rafah Governorate.

Position: Field Officer 9 months (prospective 12-14 months extention)

Responsibilities:

-To assist in the management, coordination and implementation of the project;
-Involvement in the direct implementation of the project ensuring its goals;
-Involvement in the project finance, logistics under project Guidelines;
-Contribute to the development of action plans and follow-up;
-Provide administrative support and coordination for all tasks with all parties;
-Coordinating all meetings related to the project with the relevant parties;
-Documenting and preserving the papers and records of the project and work with the project team;
-Help Project Coordinator in any other tasks required by the work;
-Willingness to attend and actively participate in trainings activities.


Qualifications and skills:

-Bachelor's degree in Social Science;
-At least two years of practical experience in administrative work, community work, and project management;
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English;
-Ability to work under pressure and teamwork;
-Professional knowledge of Office Windows;

Excellent reporting and analysis skills;
-Strong commintment and dedication to the organisation and project goals;
-Previous experience in socio-educational/psychosocial projects and/or with people with disability would be greatly appreciated;
-Respect for confidentiality, with diplomacy and negotiation skills.
