Save the Children is seeking qualified candidate to fulfill the following vacancy in its Gaza Office:
          

Field Officer Position#: (FO/GZ/2015)

Main Responsibilities:

Field Management:
-This post holder is a representative of SCI for this program for the counterparts, monitoring and close coordination with partners.
-The Education Field Officer will be responsible to SCI for the follow up of the activity in the field, and provide needed technical support.
-Advocate to local authorities, the community’s needs, and raising awareness of vulnerabilities identified.
-Identify capacity gaps and training needs for local partners to improve their skills in project management and implementation.

Ensure concerned people and particularly within line management are always updated in a timely manner on the status of the project.

Qualifications and Experience:
-Bachelor Degree in Social Science, Educations and Development Studies or other related field
-At least two years of experience in implementing similar tasks.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Demonstrated experience in implementing a complex and diverse workload and to tight deadlines.
-Ability to contribute to a small, proactive team, motivating staff and working collaboratively with colleagues and providing support and advice as necessary.
-A full appreciation of the value of co-operation, both internationally and within a team environment.
-Written and verbal fluency in English and Arabic is required.
