In JWBG, CRS currently supports programs in the sectors of humanitarian relief, livelihoods, civil society strengthening, and social justice promotion through its field offices, in Jerusalem, Gaza, Ramallah, and Bethlehem. CRS is working to provide rapid emergency assistance to conflict affected communities in Gaza and the West Bank in the sectors of multipurpose cash; shelter; psycho-social support; food assistance; and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). Job Summary:
CRS is currently seeking Field Officers to join the cash and voucher assistance (CVA) project team in the West Bank. CRS is currently implementing Multipurpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) and cash for shelter programming as part of the different emergency responses. You will monitor and report on cash and voucher project activities of your team in support of Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) work serving the poor and vulnerable. Your thorough and service-oriented approach will ensure that the project consistently applies best practices and constantly works towards improving the impact of its benefits to those we serve.

Roles and key responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and monitoring of all cash & voucher project activities at the field level, ensuring implementation schedules are met as per the detailed activity plan, and that adherence to systems for quality project implementation are strengthened.
- Coordinate communication and facilitate information sharing among the project team, implementing partners, key stakeholders and project beneficiaries at the community level to assist local partners in strengthening the community interest, involvement and support networks.
- Liaise with various community stakeholders and mobilize them to ensure full involvement of community leaders, community representatives, and local representatives in the overall implementation and improvement of project activities.
- In coordination with the project team support capacity building events for partners and community representatives.
- Compile data provided at the community level as per project requirements and contribute to the preparation of reports
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2 years of work or volunteer experience in community development and mobilization.
- Additional education may substitute for some experience.
- Computer skills required.
Required Languages – English and Arabic fluency is required.
Travel – Must be willing and able to travel through West Bank up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cash & voucher assistance modalities, and/or market-based programming.
- Experience in participatory action planning and community engagement.
- Experience monitoring projects and collecting relevant data preferred.
- Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Internal: CVA Project Officer, Senior Project Officer, Cash and Markets Program Manager, and Compliance and Operation staff
External: Implementing partners, Stakeholders (including but not limited to vendors, financial service providers, key market actors, other implementation agencies)
