Field Worker

An NGO working in the fields of: Agriculture, Natural Resource Management and Researches. Based in Hebron is seeking a field worker to be based in Jerusalem within the framework of the ongoing project.

Job description:
1-Conducting field visits and interviews with targeted families to gather information and address families needs;
2-Oversee the implementation plan for the targeted families through regular field and home visits and providing assistance and advocacy;
3-Collecting, classifying and computerizing field data through an ongoing follow-up basis;
4-Assist developing relationships with project's partners in the field, encouraging cooperation and networking;
5-Assist developing relationships with Community Based Organization - CBO to facilitate access to information;
6-Carryout research and provide advice on various technical issues;
7-Prepare and ensure timely input, as required, for weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports and any other required reports, and updating project’s MIS;
8-Perform additional duties as assigned, consistent with qualifications.

Qualifications:
1-B.A. in sociology or related subjects;
2-Two years of experience in field work and/or CBO's networking is preferable;
3-Good command in computer and internet.
4-Self-motivated and dedication to the work;
5-Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines;
6-Ability to work within a team environment;
7-Good command of English language;
8-Candidates must hold Jerusalem ID; and
9-Fresh graduated encouraged to apply.
