UNIFEM oPt is seeking to recruit qualified candidates for the following positions:

Project : Socially Responsible Development through Women-run School Canteens
Post Title: Ref #: 1/1
Field Worker - South West Bank

Duration: 6 months (possibility of renewal)
Contract: SSA
Remuneration: Equivalent to SB1/1

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

-Assist in monitoring duties related to the schools canteens project at the local level,
-Ensure proper follow up with the CBOs involved in the project, through conducting regular field visits to the CBOs to assist in monitoring progress.
-Collect project data from the field, as required and in accordance with project monitoring and evaluation framework set by the project team.
-Assist in following up with women CBOs for the submission of data and reports as required to ensure regular flow of information.
-Assist in liaising with the women CBOs in any project-related activity.
-Ensure timely respect of deadlines of the assigned duties;
-Maintain contacts with projects partners on the local level.
-Participate in meetings held on the local level between project partners including Ministry of Education directorates, schools and CBOs;
-Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
-High School Diploma
-One to two years of experience, preferably in rural development and/ or working with community-based women centers and rural women.
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
-Ability to work independently and within a team.
-Excellent writing skills in Arabic, English is an asset.
