The Role
To support the finance team in all stages of operational financial management. Responsible for finance administration tasks. Supporting the implementation of organisational finance policies and initiatives and maintaining organisational finance standards in all processes.

What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has:
- Knowledge of basic accountancy theory and 2 years’ experience in a similar finance position
- Previous experience in accountancy, either in INGO, Local NGO or in private company.
- Computer skills – Word, Excel, use of the Internet, databases and email.
- Good communication skill
- Good spoken and written English
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, and reliable in keeping confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure within the office, and prioritise routine and ad hoc tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well in a team in a multi-cultural working environment
- A strong commitment to Gender equality and Diversity issues.

- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as the commitment to equal opportunities.
- Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women’s rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work.

What we offer
The employee will be contracted by Oxfam with a competitive, fair and comprehensive pay and benefits package that is justifiable to our donors. Basic salary starts as 66,239 ILS gross per annum, for a 40-hour contract. Salary offered will be subject to funding available and competences.
