Position: Finance  and Logistics Assistant
Location: Gaza Strip
Closing date:13th  April 2015

Job Type: Full Time
SEC is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that was created by and for the private sector and focuses its activities primarily on the SMEs sector. SEC fulfills its vision by delivering services to SMEs in support of their growth and the expansion of their business potentials, including income increase and creation of employment opportunities.

Core responsibilities
The job includes, but is not limited to the tasks described below:
-Responsible for monthly and daily office payment in accordance to SEC’s financial and procurement policies and procedures;.
-Follow up petty cash fund and payments
-Maintain office files.
-Coordinate repairs to office equipment.
-Carry out programs logistics including procurement of supplies, and contractors as needed.
-Coordinate programs  activities with the Finance officer  and project coordinator including follow  up programs  deadlines and updates.
-Ensure effective use of funds only for purposes described in the program design and budget and per guidance provided by the program director and finance officer .
-Oversee the administration of program files and relevant documents, including the filing of documents, physically and electronically.
-Registering and tracking all incoming and outgoing physical correspondence.
-Perform receptionist, operator and librarian tasks as needed.
-Manage the supply of materials/ services for SEC.
-In charge of the office equipment/IT needs identifications, installation, allocation, follow up of it’s maintenance, monitoring and updating related follow up charts and files.
-Perform other logistical and administrative tasks within the program’s scope of activities, as instructed by management.

Qualifications and experience:
-BA in accounting, Finance, Business administration or related field .
-At least 2-4 year experience in finance & admin.
-Experience in working with non-governmental organizations with financial planning and monitoring of development and relief projects is preferred.
-Experience in administration, procedures and record keeping.
-Experience in monitoring and tracking the budgets and the payments.

-Effective written communications skills.
-Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines under pressure, and to complete ad hoc work with quality and attention to details.
-Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Email, Internet, Excel, Outlook.
