Finance & Awards Emergency Roster
Location: West Bank
In light of rapidly increasing needs, Save the Children oPt is expanding our emergency response roster, the purpose of this pipeline post is to identify ready to deploy human resources under Finance & Awards Management department for our emergency response.
Roles under this pipeline will be responsible for providing effective support and coordination to the Finance department with the whole spectrum of finance elements such as accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, cash & advances management, partners' financial monitoring & capacity building. The position holder will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of Finance initiatives. Roles will be responsible for ensuring full compliance to the policies and procedures of these core responsibilities and implementing best practices aligned with the organizational culture. - Awards Manager
- Awards Coordinator
- Awards Officer
- Awards Assistant
Note: Role holders will be expected to work with varying working hours and outside of their normal role profiles occasionally. They may also be expected to travel field locations as necessary.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance and/or Business Administration or relevant qualifications on Finance/Accounting.
- Relevant working experience as per requirements of their role level.
- Strong communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills in English and Arabic, with experience in working with multicultural teams.
- Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated excellent skills in planning, coordination, and reporting skills, with the ability to organise a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities;
- Proven operational Finance experience preferably in NGO environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced Computer skills working with MS Office applications (i.e. Word, advanced Excel, Outlook, Powerpoing, Teams).
- Ability to work with limited supervision and strong ability to take initiative.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- A strong sense of integrity.
- Being an excellent team player.
- Experience in working with i/NGOs will be an asset.
- Preferably knowledge of finance and operational controls in regards to cash transfer programming.
- Preferably experience in partnership programming and financial monitoring & assessment of partners.
