Finance/Investment Manager
Sharakat for Small and Medium Investments, a Palestine Investment Fund (PIF) company, is seeking highly-qualified professional for the position of Finance/Investment Manager at Sharakat Headquarters in Ramallah.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the financial viability of Sharakat investment portfolio; including analysis of costs, pricing, revenues, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans;
Lead on the management and preparations of the company’s budget, financing, financial position and forecasts;
Produce financial reports, oversee the analysis and interpretation of the financial information for investment portfolio and provide recommendations;
Assist investee companies in developing their financial recording and reporting systems;
Lead on the financial aspects of investment deals and provide advice, including the performance of due diligence and financial modeling;
Lead on financing negotiations and agreements with banks and DFIs;
Ensure full compliance to audit requirements and to accounting standards, including the development of robust internal controls, policies and procedures to enhance accountability and transparency;
Manage and coach direct staff and other team members as required;
Assist the Executive Director and other team members in negotiating and structuring investment deals.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Investment; or equivalent strong practical experience, along with a relevant Bachelor’s Degree;
Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus7;
Minimum 5 years in relevant field;
Proven experience as a Financial Manager;
Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst in an investment setting is a plus;
Extensive understanding of financial trends both within a company and general market patterns;
Proficient user of finance software; Excel in particular, and ability to do financial modeling;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Arabic and English.
