Finance Manager

World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world.

World Vision Jerusalem -West Bank- Gaza is seeking:

Finance Manager

The successful candidate will:
Provide overall strategic financial management and direction
Contribute to the leadership WV JWG as a member of the executive team
Supervise the maintenance of accounting systems and provide timely financial reports
Lead the preparation of annual budgets and ensure adequate financial resources
Liaise effectively with World Vision GC, MEERO and other Support Offices, the donor community and other NGOs
Perform other relevant duties as required by the National Director

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor degree in Accounting. A Chartered Accountant or Certified Accountant is preferred
Minimum 5 years related experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Ability to organize and present financial information according the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Experience in managing audits and/or relating to auditors
Experience in the non-profit sector, preferably with an INGO
Excellent management and administrative skills with the ability to think laterally
Proven experience in organizational development, systems and procedures
Good computer skills including experience and knowledge in spreadsheets, word processing and accounting software
Strong communications skills
Cross-cultural experience and sensitivity
Thinking clearly, deeply and broadly
Commitment to achieving quality results and service
Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills
Valid driving license
Integrity and strong identification with WV Core Values
Position is based in Jerusalem
