Finance Officer

Agricultural Cooperatives Union-Palestine (PACU), under project supported by We Effect, invites

Applicants from the qualified candidates for the post of: “PACU Finance Officer – part time”
Duty Station: PACU, Al Bireh, Ramallah, Palestine
Report to: PACU Executive Director.
Part time : 25 hours per week (during PACU working days and hours)

1-Qualifications:
-Bachelors of Science in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.
-Knowledge of cooperatives principles.
-Knowledge of cooperation law, and cooperative development plans,
-Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in at least two in cooperatives accounting and financial management
-Very Good to Excellent command of Spoken and written English and Arabic
-Strong financial analytical and accounting standard and skills.
-Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and similar programs.
-Advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages (Bisan or any PACU accounting system Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
-The individual will be expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work product.
-Assume responsibility for accuracy and timelines of work.
-Ability to work under pressure and challenging conditions.
