Finance Officer

Relief International (RI) provides emergency, rehabilitation and development services that empower
beneficiaries in more than 30 countries worldwide. RI's programs include health, shelter construction, education, community development, agriculture, food, income-generation, and conflict resolution. Relief International Palestine is seeking qualified and highly motivated candidates to fill the following positions for its head office in Ramallah:

The Finance Officer will oversee all of the RI finances in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and
will directly report to the Country Director. Specific responsibilities include preparation of financial
reports, project budgets, annual organizational budgets, management of the finance software. The
Finance Officer will ensure compliance donor financial requirements and procedures.
1-Prepare regular financial reports
2-Prepare annual and project budgets
3-Control project expenses
4-Manage RI Palestine finance software
5-Ensure compliance to donor and organizational standards and procedures
6-Advise project managers and country team regarding finance matters
7-Liaise and communicate with RI's Head/Regional Office on various finance matters

Desired Qualifications:
1-Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Finance Officer/Senior Accountant in a local or international NGO.
2-University degree in accounting or business administration
3-Excellent English language skills.
4-Positive team work spirit and ability to work under pressure
