Enabel Palestine is currently recruiting a Financial Controller for its office in Ramallah.

Job description

Under the supervision of the Finance and Administrative Expert, the Financial Controller will ensure:

  1. The quality of financial information to allow decision-making and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness with which operations are conducted which must lead to the achievement of the objectives if the intervention and

  2. Mastery of fiduciary risks. 

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute budgetary plans and financial reporting mechanisms to optimize fund utilization and ensure accurate financial records.

  2. Oversee and validate grant/ASC agreement reporting to guarantee adherence to expenditure guidelines outlined in the agreements.

  3. Mitigate fiduciary risks by implementing robust internal controls and audit action plans, safeguarding the achievement of objectives.

  4. Enhance the capabilities of partner entities to enhance organizational efficiency, refine processes and systems, and bolster staff expertise.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Your profile

  • A master's degree in finance, economics, accounting and/or business administration.  
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in financial management.  
  • Experience in auditing, risk management and in financial management in the public sector.   
  • Experience with team management.  
  • Good knowledge of ICT applications and ERP system. 
  • Experience in an international environment is an asset. 
  • Good knowledge of financial management. 
  • Good knowledge of Arabic and/or English
