Food Security and Livelihood Field Monitor

Action Against Hunger (ACF) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-political, non-denominational and non-profit making organisation working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002.

ACF is recruiting for its Nablus office
 

For 2 months period

The Candidate will:
-Community mobilization: present, explain and clarify project’s objectives, purpose, indicators, criteria of beneficiary selection and procedures to the beneficiaries, local committees and CBOs in concern.
-Facilitate and follow up on the process of beneficiary application filling, in participation with all local committees and CBOs concerned.
-Cross check beneficiary names with other stakeholders
-Conduct household verification visits for beneficiary selection
-Conduct voucher distribution exercises and baseline/end line Surveys
-Conduct onsite monitoring of project shops and collect vouchers and beneficiary lists
-Participates in monthly monitoring exercises
-Provide the data entry officer with data gathered about beneficiary applications/Voucher distribution and from monitoring exercises in accuracy and timely manner.

Profile of the Candidate:
-Diploma or new graduate in Social Science or related field
-Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a NGO.
-Good computer skills especially in Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
-Good knowledge of the northern West Bank area
-Fluency in Arabic, excellent command of English language (Spoken and written)
-Good interpersonal and analytical skills
