Food Security Officer

Oxfam GB in the occupied Palestinian territories & Israel is working towards a just & peaceful resolution to the devastating conflict that continues to deprive people of their basic rights. We are looking for a Food Security Officer to coordinate the activities of the Food Security project funded by ECHO in close coordination with partner organizations. The position is for six months and based in Jerusalem.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Education: Bachelors degree in plant or animal science (Essential)
Experience
At least two year’s work experience in an NGO, preferably in coordination of a food security project/s.
Good working knowledge of small-scale farming issues in the occupied Palestinian territory.
