Looking for a great way to develop a career in the NGO sector? Then help our Funding Team plan, raise and manage funds from institutional and non-institutional donors. You’ll be supporting crucial initiatives while discovering how we work, and how you can progress into a field-based role.

About the role
Clean water. Employment opportunities. The supply of vouchers to choose your own food items.  Projects to combat the effects of conflict and strengthen civil society. The funds we raise from our donors make a huge difference to people throughout Gaza. In this admin-focused role, you will gather and collate all the information that explains how these funds are used and managed, pulling together reports and proposal submissions and sending them out to key people. There will be deadlines to meet and internal staff to keep up to date. But no matter how busy or pressured it gets, you will be unfailingly accurate and well organised.


About you

Although familiarity with donors and humanitarian programming is a plus, what is vital is that you can work both independently and as part of a team, and that you have plenty of initiative, enthusiasm and common sense. As you will be co-ordinating and writing reports, good research and communication skills are important too. And, of course, you will be flexible enough to juggle priorities and analytical enough to pinpoint key information. Just as importantly, you will have the travel permits that give you the right to enter Gaza.
