Fundraising & Public Relations

SOS Children’s Villages- Palestine (SOS Palestine) seeks a well spoken and confident professional for the position of Fundraising & Public Relations. This position coordinates national fundraising activities, aligning these with regional, continental, and international guidelines. He/she guides the long term development of fundraising within a clearly defined strategy, in order to ensure a continuous inflow of funds. This position is also responsible for maintaining a positive external image of SOS Palestine through liaising with other international development organisations and
through selected PR activities. He/she will work in close partnership with the National Director, the Regional Fundraising Advisor, and Continental Navigator on issues of regional, continental,
and international interest.

Candidate must have excellent English skills as well as a firm understanding of spoken Arabic and preferably written as well.
Competent computer & email skills required.
Main duties include fundraising, proposal writing, creation of promotional material, reporting on expenditure of funds, reporting on SOS Palestine activities and events, communication with SOS Children’s Villages Regional, Continental, and International offices.
