Gender Consultant

OBJECTIVE:

Right To Play - (RTP) is seeking a consultant with knowledge and professional experience in gender analysis and mainstreaming to revise RTP training resources to be gender responsive.

Purpose of The Consultancy 

The objective of this consultancy is to carry out a rigorous and in-depth revision and contextualization of Right To Play’s training resources from a gender perspective which should entail integrating gender responsive measures, themes and concepts in Right To Play Gender Responsive Play-Based Learning methodology.

Qualifications:

• Advanced academic degree in Gender Studies or related field. or more than 10 years of experience in gender field 
• Previous experience in working with development projects with a focus on the gender education and/or child protection sector.
• At least 8 years’ experience working on similar assignments. Including review of manuals, gender mainstreaming in curricula and others. 
• Fluency in Arabic writing and editing (Training resources are in Arabic) and in English
