Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure that the program’s activities are inclusive particularly of women, youth, people with disability, children, and other underrepresented groups. Demonstrated experience and expertise in the issues facing traditionally marginalized populations and methodologies/best practices to empower their meaningful inclusion in community and political and economic life. Address marginalization in conflict and post-conflict environments, with sensitivity to the intersection of conflict and other vulnerability factors.

Basic Qualifications: Experience in designing inclusive programs is required. Demonstrated clear understanding of drivers of marginalization and vulnerability in Palestinian communities and experience with tools to assist in identifying such drivers in new communities in a volatile environment. Arabic and English language skills are required. The position will likely be based in Ramallah.
