GlobalCom/Core Network Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Development of Designs,Implementation and Support Plans.
•Strong knowledge and experience in secure networks and high grade encryption systems.
•Provide high level support of the core and remote site LAN,WAN and SVC infrastructure,including routers,switches,SVC'bridge'equipment,SVC end-point equipment and associated software configurations.
•Work closely with other members of the Network Design team aswell as users and support staff.

Skills & Qualifications :

•In-depth experience working in secure ICT environments.
•Good working knowledge of network switches & routers,and their configuration,installation and operation.
•Advanced experience with Juniper products.
•Good working knowledge of LAN and WAN protocols.
•Good working knowledge of WAN communication methods.
•Sound fault finding ability on LAN and WAN switching and routing equipment,with the ability to perform analysis of and resolve Layer1-3 fault swith in the WAN/LAN environment.
•Detailed knowledge of QOS principles,protocols and standards.
•Experience with tracking tasks and projects with appropriate development/monitoring tools.
