Grants and Development Manager

The Grants and Development Manager is responsible for enabling The Freedom Theatre to achieve its institutional fundraising goals. The Grants and Development Manager heads the Development Department and works closely with the Finance Department and the Managing Director.

Primary Responsibilities
-Manages a portfolio of current and prospective donors
-Produces proposals and reports to foundation and government donors
-With the Finance Department prepares documents as part of grant applications and reports, including budgets and expense reports
-Oversees foundation and government donor credits on all relevant publications
-Liaises with other Development staff and other departments in the collection of programme information needed for proposals and reports, including statistics, annual plans, programmes, annual reports, etc.
-Copyedits and proofreads proposals, reports, donor publications and other documents prepared by other Development staff
-Works closely with the communications team on online campaigns, annual reports and other donor communication materials.

Requirements
-At least 2 years of experience in the field of Fundraising, Resource Development or Project Management .
-Ability to work under pressure and in a team-setting
-Very good English speaking, writing and understanding
-Basic understanding of Arabic language, proficiency is preferred
