World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking a:

Grants Officer

The successful candidates will:
Prepare successful donor proposals and ensure that all requirements are met
Maintain strong relationships with donors and support offices
Act as a focal point for donor reporting and coordinate effective and efficient reports
Ensure donor compliance including good knowledge of donor requirements, communication and internal capacity building
Perform other duties as required by the direct supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements:
-Bachelor degree in rural development, social sciences or relevant subject
-Minimum 3 years’ related experience in a (I)NGO or donor organization
-Minimum 3 years’ experience in proposal writing and related grant work
-Excellent writing skills in English and Arabic
-Proficiency in MS Office
-Knowledge of key institutional donors (especially major donors such as EC, ECHO, DFID etc)
-Knowledge of humanitarian cluster system and UN-led funding mechanisms
-Knowledge of key tools of development/humanitarian programming, notably project cycle management and logical framework
-Principles for budget holding and budgeting
-Committed to achieving quality results and service
-Effective skills in communication of information and ideas
-Ability to influence individuals and groups
-Ability to think clearly, deeply, and broadly
-Proven experience in building collaborative relationships
-Cross-cultural experience and understanding
-Integrity and strong identification with World Vision Core Values
-Position is based in Jerusalem
