The German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) is an international corporation, which contributes to sustainable development focusing on improving living conditions and perspectives through investing in people and their organizations. In this context, GTZ implements on behalf of the German Government, in partnership with the relevant Palestinian partners, a technical cooperation programme aiming at improving solid waste management services provided to the Palestinian population.

The GTZ- supported Solid Waste Management (SWM) Programme is looking for a Technical Consultant / Coordinator to assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Solid Waste Management Programme. Candidates to this consultancy shall have the following academic and professional qualifications:

-University degree in engineering, environment, development studies, or any other related field.
-Minimum of 5 years relevant occupational experience preferably including Solid Waste Management experience in the Palestinian Territories.
-Good mediation, coordination, problem solving and PR skills including participatory approaches/methods.
-Possess a valid driving licence and able to travel within and outside the PT.
