The business currently employs over 150 staff, offering a growing range of IT outsourcing and contact centre services to local and international clients. The Transcend Board and CEO are committed to ambitious growth targets
We are therefore looking for an experienced head of business development professional to take the development and expansion of Transcend to the next level. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with Board members, they will be responsible for broadening Transcend’s base of major customers and increasing revenue, developing a strong sales funnel of local and international prospects and converting
To be successful, you will need business acumen, strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, and in-depth experience of sales and marketing

Responsibilities
Collect and analyse market research including customer research and competitive analysis; research marketing opportunities and plans; understand client requirements; and identify market trends
Recommend sales outreach strategies and tactics to expand the company’s customer base and increase revenue, and suggest system improvements to achieve the company's objectives, presenting these recommendations in clear written and verbal reports to the CEO and Board
Develop and implement the agreed business development plans, working closely with the CEO and leveraging board members connections and expertise
Develop rapport with qualified prospects, understanding their needs and decision making process, in order to develop a mutually beneficial partnership that takes them on a journey from pilot to regular client
Maintain and further develop key customer relationships
Identify and manage short term sales and business development consultants in different markets
Constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify new business opportunities, assess their market potential, and review issues and risks in order to recommend further business development strategies and tactics
Manage and create content for Transcend’s web page, LinkedIn and Social Media
Qualifications
Ability to work from Beit Jala
Personal integrity and a commitment to Transcend’s vision and values
Business acumen including a bachelor’s degree in business or a related area
Proven professional high value sales skills with 5+ years of sales, marketing and business development management
Experience developing and implementing online and offline marketing campaigns
Able to demonstrate strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit
Strong planning and analysis skills
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for managing projects to conclusion on time
Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
