Start date: ASAP. Salary: 7000 NIS per month net or depending on experience – Full time position.  Based in Jerusalem, the Head of Finance will bear the following main responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
• Management of ACTED oPT Finance Department to include Base staff located in Gaza and West Bank
• Responsible for overall oversight of ACTED oPT accountancy for Base and Capital Offices
• Carry out Financial analysis and participate in strategic decision making for ACTED oPT operations
• Formulation of budgets for proposed projects in coordination with Program and Logistics staff
• Responsible for External Reporting Follow-Up and preparation of Financial Reports for Donors
• Preparation of Monthly Internal Financial Reports and liaison with HQ Paris Finance Team
• Ensure ACTED oPT compliance with ACTED Financial procedures
• Undertake internal and external audit preparations as requested
• Responsible for Jerusalem Office Accountancy
Required Skills:
• University degree in accountancy
• Minimum 5 years experience to include experience of working with INGOs/Donor Reporting
• At least 2 years of Managerial experience
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel
• Fluent Spoken and Written English and Arabic
• Strong communication and Leadership skills
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively
