Job Title: Head of School for Pioneers Baccalaureate School - Nablus

School Information:

Pioneers Baccalaureate School, governed by the Future Pioneers Society (FPS), is a private nonprofit and bilingual Arabic/English institution serving over 740 students in grades 1 - 12. Our faculty consists of 55 local teachers, 15 international teachers, and 10 administrators. At PBS, we provide an American-style education complemented by a robust foundation in Arabic, religion, and social studies. Our diverse and dedicated staff works side by side to deliver an exceptional education to each student, emphasizing critical thinking and creativity.

PBS is accredited by the Palestinian Ministry of Education and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The school prepares its students to obtain an American High School diploma and a Palestinian Tawjihi equivalence certificate providing them with the opportunity to continue their studies in local, regional, and international universities.

The Position:

The Future Pioneers Society (FPS) is actively searching for a Head of School to lead Pioneers Baccalaureate School (PBS) located in Nablus. The ideal candidate should:

Provide strong leadership and guidance to all staff members

Oversee and manage all academic and administrative operations of the school.
Develop and implement all policies and procedures set by the governing board of the FPS.
Collaborate with the governing body to develop and implement the school’s vision, values, and strategic plan.
Ensure the school’s academic program and services provided to students are of the highest quality, and work continuously to improve it.
Foster a positive and warm school culture that is welcoming to students, staff, and families.
Prepare and present the school’s budget for approval by FPS.
Solve problems that arise and base decisions that are in the best interest of the school and its students.
Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
Lead the recruitment and evaluation of staff.
Retain qualified local and international staff members including faculty, administrators, and support staff.
Motivate staff members to continuously improve their skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.
Ensure the school continuously meets the accreditation requirements set by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
Work diligently to upgrade and expand facilities and student services.
Build and maintain relationships with the parents association, local vendors, government agencies, and other private schools.
Oversee the admission process for the testing, interviewing and evaluating of applicants for enrolment
Work closely with the existing School Principal, HS Dean and Academic Heads

متطلبات الوظيفة

Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role
Knowledge of bilingual and cultural competency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to motivate and inspire staff members
Familiarity with financial management and budgeting
Preference will be given to holders of a Palestinian passport
