World Vision Jerusalem -West Bank- Gaza is seeking:

Health and Nutrition Technical Specialist

The successful candidate will

Provide programmatic health related technical advice and input to National Strategies and develop future directions for the Health project implementation and sustainability.
Provide technical support to ADP Managers to integrate health programs within ADP operations.
Organize capacity building and provide trainings in health related issues to staff and communities.
Initiate and develop concept papers related to health issues.
Conduct monitoring visits to Area Development Programs health projects.
Network with partners and other local and INGOs and represent WV in regional working groups.

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor degree in Nutrition, Public Health or any related field
At least 3 years’ experience in working in a related health and nutrition projects including training, facilitation, design and reporting experience
Experience and strong knowledge in health and nutrition topics
Familiarity and knowledge in Palestinian health situation
Strong communications skills (English & Arabic)
Thinking clearly, deeply and broadly
Commitment to achieving quality results and service
Practicing gender and cultural diversity
Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills
Ability and willingness to travel frequently to Project areas
Valid driving license and ability to operate 4x4 vehicles
Integrity and strong identification with WV Core Values
Position is based in Jerusalem/Ramallah/Bethlehem
